Job Description

About the Role:
SquarePeg is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Staging professional to join our finance team. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and overseeing staging operations to ensure accurate accounting processes and optimal inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis reports.
  • Conduct regular audits of staging inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with staging teams to track and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Provide support for financial decision-making through analysis and cost tracking.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with staging or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • CPA certification or relevant certification is a plus.
