Job Description

Position: Long Term Care Administrator (Permanent)

Facility: Good Samaritan Society

Location: Larimore, ND, 58251

Assignment Length: 99 Weeks
Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Patient Population: Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living

Specialty: LTC

Hiring Wage: $41 - $68 (salaried/exempt)

Relocation Bonus: Available (TBD at time of offer if needed)

Sign On Bonus; $20,000 sign-on ($5K at 6mo, 12mo, 18mo, 2yrs)

Requirements:

  • 2 solid years of experience as a long term care administrator

  • A current Nursing Home Administrator's license issued by the state of practice (LNHA)

  • Must have A bachelor's degree with Preference for Health Care Administration degree

  • Financial understanding, general understanding of reimbursement and business application of Microsoft Office programs.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to deal with conflict and embrace diversity in the workplace.



Responsibilities:

  • An Administrator for the facility is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the location, including meeting established goals and outcomes, ensuring regulatory and organization compliance, directing and coordinating work, financial and operational stability, and demonstrating spiritual leadership. Supports the location for a temporary period of time during a transition in leadership for focused projects.

  • This position will be held accountable for complying with all related laws, regulations, company policies and procedures pertaining to his or her position and for fulfilling his or her obligations under the facilities Corporate Compliance Program.

  • Directly supervises assigned employee(s). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; fostering an environment for employee engagement.
