Salary $65,000 - $70,000 per year
A Bit About Us Our Company has been busy reducing global methane emissions, and revolutionizing landfill gas (LFG) collection and refinement technologies utilizing its own patented technologies. We continue to seek out contacts within the municipal solid waste (MSW) sector via relationship-building with landfill owners, operators and waste management companies. We qualify, finance, develop, install, and operate projects that capture and process vented and fugitive methane to generate new revenue streams and reduce compliance risk for landfill partners.
***This is not a remote position and will be 100% onsite in Midland, TX***

Job Details ***This is not a remote position and will be 100% onsite in Midland, TX***
This position is responsible for ensuring smooth business operations through application development and IT Help Desk under the advisement of Management. Candidate will focus on designing, developing, and troubleshooting new and existing programs, and applications. We are seeking highly motivated, self-starters with a growth mindset and track record of exceptional delivery in a dynamic work environment.
Essential Job Functions - Serve as point of contact for end user support concerning computers, printers, network issues, general help desk
- Define, develop and document application’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users
- Define project plans, including scope, schedule and implementation
- Utilize languages such as VB.net for Desktop application development
- Assist with developing Atlas (In-house ERP system)
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities - Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with databases
- Familiarity with database queries
- Familiarity with high level programming languages
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Work is generally performed indoors and sedentary
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Repetitious hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email and cellphone
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Extensive visual and auditory observation during work
- Write and read job-related notes via email, etc.
