Identify key economic issues and develop relevant analytical frameworks for use in complex litigation, regulatory proceedings and corporate strategic planning. Work closely with other consultants, analysts and attorneys to develop rigorous economic models to assess liability and damages, prepare testimony, and critique the analyses of opposing experts. Formulate economic and financial models for corporate clientele and design creative solutions using leading-edge analytics and emerging data sources to address clients' most pressing business challenges. Help companies leverage analytic tools to better manage innovation. Work extensively with merger analyses, utility restructuring, portfolio risk assessment, transfer pricing, and asset valuations. Draft and prepare detailed reports and presentations for use in trials, meetings and consultations with the Company's academic affiliates.Education & Experience Requirements:Must have a master's degree in economics, finance, business or a related quantitative field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in a related occupation using advanced research and analysis methodologies. In the alternative, the employer will accept a PhD degree or ABD in degree in economics, finance, business or a related quantitative field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year experience in a related occupation using advanced research and analysis methodologies.
