Job Description

The ideal candidate is a zealous advocate, passionate about both criminal and family law. They should be capable of managing cases, attending necessary court proceedings, and seamlessly collaborating with both senior partners and administrative staff. Being a strong communicator is crucial, as the role involves frequent interactions within the team and with clients. The candidate will be working with prosecutors and opposing counsel to resolve cases Responsibilities:

• Manage and represent clients in both criminal and family law cases.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and other team members.
• Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Provide strategic advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are always at the forefront.
• Represent clients in court, presenting arguments and motions as necessary.
• Handle administrative tasks related to client invoicing, billing, and meeting setups.
• Working with prosecutors and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid South Carolina legal license.
• Experience in criminal and family law is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, conscientious, and holds oneself to the highest professional standards.
• Must be able to work without needing much guidance.
