Job Title: AV Technician Job Description We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic AV Technician to assist with the installation and service of audio-visual infrastructure, including distributed AV, speakers, amplifiers, video screens, and digital signage. The role also involves the installation of video signal components and cabling. Occasionally, the AV Technician will lead small AV projects with a crew of no more than three onsite. The ideal candidate is good-natured, approaches challenges with a positive attitude, enjoys working in a dynamic team-oriented environment, and can prioritize work effectively. Responsibilities + Assist in the installation and service of audio-visual infrastructure. + Install distributed AV systems, speakers, amplifiers, and other audio components. + Install video screens, digital signage, and video signal components. + Lead small AV projects with a crew of no more than three onsite when required. + Ensure reliable transportation to job sites throughout New England. + Work variable hours, including weekends, late nights, and early mornings as needed. Essential Skills + Strong AV skills with experience in systems like Creston, BiAmp, and Q-SYS AV. + Solid troubleshooting, support, and installation skills. + Reliability and a strong desire to grow with the company. + Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted Additional Skills & Qualifications + Certifications such as CTS are preferred but not required. + Experience working in K-12, higher education, auditoriums, and places of worship. + A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
