A startup proprietary trading firm has had a successful 2024 and is motivated to grow their business in 2025. To start, they want to hire a C++ Software Engineer to further develop, innovate and scale their low-latency trading technology as the firm continues to onboard new traders.
The firm is very tightly knit as they have roughly 30 employees, all in NYC, across Technology and Trading. The firm was founded by an industry veteran in the prop trading space, and they're currently focused on short term trading across equities futures and options but they have ambition to grow into other financial asset classes as they establish their footprint in the market. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience at a prop trading firm or hedge fund, excellent C++ programming ability, and the desire to be in the weeds and have a direct impact on the business.
