Florida Construction Connection was founded in 2004 when our CEO saw a need in the construction industry as a place where professionals could go for sound career advice. We have a recognized brand that helps currently employed management professionals to advance their careers right where they are or professionally in the right time make a career move, similar to a dating process.

We provide career coaching and career matchmaking to management professionals in the construction industry. Personal attention backed by industry expertise.

There is a high demand for what we do so we are growing our team! We are expanding to not only meet the demand but also to grow into our vision of offering more services to help our clients and candidates in the construction industry achieve their goals.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Career Matchmaker, you make calls to professionals within the construction industry to offer assistance for career advancement, training, and professional development services. You mediate the coaching and career match process. No sales.

If you like making outbound calls, have the ability to ask pertinent questions, listen, and document facts, then this could be the career you are seeking.

ROLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO

• Check in with candidates affiliated with our brand and introduce our brand to those that may not be familiar with the brand and services.
• Qualify candidates for career coaching, career matchmaking and other products and services.
• Gather Information through business conversation.
• Schedule services.
• Follow-up and aide in processes to complete services.
• Build quality relationships with the internal customers.

• Participate in Internal and External company meeting and events.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability and interest to make outbound calls.
• Ability to capture detailed notes in CRM system.
• Professional Communication skills.
• Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work extended hours if necessary.

• Understanding the career matchmaking process and how the company works with individual clients and applicants.

• High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability.
• Resourcefulness in finding information and answers from within and outside the company without prompting or micromanagement. Recognizing opportunities for improvement and taking initiative is key.
• Respect for details; ability to execute accurately at a high level without excess supervision.
• General computer skills, special dexterity with Microsoft 365 Suite.
