Franklin Bros. Market is a tiny full service neighborhood market. We focus on providing quality groceries, organic produce, artisan coffee, fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups, craft beer & fine wine to our West Berkeley neighbors. We are committed to our community and strive to make our little store one of the best things about our neighborhood! 

We are looking for someone cheerful, energetic, dependable, honest, hard working and detail oriented to join our small and devoted team on a part-time basis. Shopkeeping duties include stocking & merchandising products, keeping the store clean and organized, giving our customers the best service possible, ringing up customer purchases and performing other duties as needed. Food Prep duties include slicing deli meat, prepping vegetables, making soups, salads and sandwiches. People with an interest in food & drinks (or a desire to learn) are encouraged to apply.

• Ability to provide excellent, friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
• Ability to work independently, self motivated.
• Ability to stand the duration of the shift and lift boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Opening / morning shifts AND closing / evening shifts available.
• Part time schedule available - full time schedule may become available in the future.
• Previous retail, customer service, or food prep experience desired.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
