Job Description

Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Location: Edwards Air Force Base, California
Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all Catholic religious education programs and sacramental preparation.
Develop and manage educational programs for Sunday school, Bible studies, and Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA).
Plan, resource, and execute the annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) alongside the Protestant RE Coordinator.
Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with chapel financial policies.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for Catholic religious education activities.
Maintain records, curriculum tracking, and statistical reports for program evaluation.
Ensure alignment with Archdiocese of Military Services (AMS) guidelines.

Qualifications:

Must be a baptized and confirmed Catholic in good standing.
Experience in Catholic religious education program management (2+ years preferred).
Knowledge of Catholic doctrine, sacraments, and faith formation processes.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
