Besides having direct customer accountability of the technology they handle, will also have managerial accountability for a team of 7-8 technical specialists. The Manager, along with his team of technical specialists, will be accountable for all aspects of technical service provision to customers within the assigned region. The Manager will be accountable for recruitment, succession-planning, performance management and skill development and coaching of the team to develop them into high performing technical specialists. The manager will monitor and control cost center and project budgets, compliance to the established work processes and maintain group Financial and Admin metrics to record group progress towards AOP targets. **Key Responsibilities:** + The primary accountability of the position is to complete the transfer of our gas processing technology in order to deliver to our customers' UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units that operate optimally, profitably and safely. + Manage and have regular interaction with external customers, and with other UOP personnel involved in gas processing technology delivery projects. + In addition to customer contact, the position provides interaction with all the UOP departments involved with technology delivery. + Manage the troubleshooting efforts for the assigned customer base as necessary to ensure that timely, accurate and effective support is provided to maintain overall customer satisfaction + Manage and build a strong UOP service relationship with gas processing customers in region + Drive the digitalization and customer service metrics. + Collaborate and Support the UPT and LST business to meet region's financial targets. + Coach and manage direct reports through the Honeywell performance review process and help build and execute individual and team development plans. **Key Experience & Capabilities:** + Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. + Experience on UOP or similar Gas processing/treating technologies such as Separax, SeparALL, Benfield, Molsiv etc. + Experience in commissioning, startup, operation, troubleshooting and optimization of gas processing technologies would be a plus + Significant experience in technical support or operations role in one or more of the major refining or gas processing technology areas + Good writing, oral and presentation skills. + Good interpersonal skills and people management skills. + Previous experience in managing a group. + Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com **Who We Are** The Future Is What We Make It at Honeywell.
