Position Overview:
Kiwibot is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the company’s global marketing strategy and branding initiatives. The CMO will be responsible for shaping and executing Kiwibot’s marketing vision across all markets, ensuring a unified, consistent, and compelling brand message as the company scales globally and integrates acquired companies. The ideal candidate will have proven experience driving global marketing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and elevating brand presence on a global scale, particularly within fast-growing, technology-focused, publicly traded organizations.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CMO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to accelerate Kiwibot’s brand awareness, customer acquisition, and overall market leadership. This role demands a high degree of creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership, particularly in navigating complex global markets and ensuring the Kiwibot brand evolves cohesively across diverse geographies and acquired entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy that aligns with Kiwibot’s growth objectives, business goals, and vision. Lead the development and implementation of marketing programs that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty across all markets.

  • Brand Leadership & Positioning: Own and evolve Kiwibot’s global brand strategy, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging while maintaining flexibility for regional adaptations. Strengthen the brand’s identity as a leader in the robotics and autonomous delivery space.

  • Acquisition Integration & Brand Consolidation: Oversee the marketing integration of acquired companies into the broader Kiwibot brand, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment of messaging, tone, and customer experience. Create a cohesive brand portfolio that resonates across all markets and business units.

  • Customer-Centric Marketing: Champion customer insights and data-driven marketing decisions. Lead efforts to understand customer needs and behaviors, translating these insights into impactful campaigns that drive growth and enhance the customer experience.

  • Digital Marketing & Innovation: Spearhead digital marketing efforts, including content marketing, social media, paid advertising, SEO/SEM, and email marketing, ensuring Kiwibot’s online presence is strong, engaging, and effective. Leverage emerging technologies and innovative marketing tactics to stay ahead of the competition.

  • Thought Leadership & Public Relations: Position Kiwibot as a thought leader in the robotics and last-mile delivery industry. Lead public relations efforts, including media relations, interviews, press releases, and speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility and credibility globally.

  • Partnerships & Sponsorships: Identify and lead strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to extend Kiwibot’s reach and brand presence. Build relationships with key industry players, influencers, and media to amplify Kiwibot’s brand.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Develop talent, provide strategic guidance, and ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity. Use data and insights to guide strategy, optimize campaigns, and refine Kiwibot’s positioning in the global marketplace.

  • Measurement & ROI: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and track effectiveness. Use analytics and reporting tools to measure return on investment (ROI), ensuring marketing spend is efficient and drives business growth.

  • Global Market Adaptation: Tailor marketing efforts to local and regional markets, respecting cultural nuances while maintaining the integrity of the global brand. Manage and optimize marketing operations in key regions worldwide, ensuring consistency and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success at a global level, ideally in a publicly traded, high-growth, technology-driven company.

  • Extensive experience in brand management, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and marketing integration post-acquisition.

  • Strong background in leading marketing teams across multiple regions and cultures, particularly in complex, international markets.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies that generate significant business results.

  • Deep understanding of data-driven marketing, analytics, and measurement of campaign performance to drive business growth.

  • Strong experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns, including content strategy, digital advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, and public relations.

  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and ensuring ROI is met across diverse channels.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with executives, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage the demands of a rapidly growing, global organization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with brand integration strategies in the context of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

  • Experience in the robotics, autonomous technology, or transportation industries.

  • Proven experience in navigating the challenges of scaling marketing efforts for a publicly traded company.
