The Role

Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking a Clamp Driver to join our team at Corru-Kraft Orora Fullerton.

This position will report to the Plant Manager.

Location: Fullerton, CA

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role

In this role the Clamp Driver will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Check and unload incoming roll stock. Inspects rolls to verify conformance to requirements.
• Read Wet End Summary to ascertain roll stock to be loaded on corrugator.
• Complete daily consumption reports as needed.
• Convey roll stock from storage to designated area.
• Secure lifting attachments to roll stock and conveys load to destination.
• Count and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet only if Kiwi is down.
• Attach identifying tags to roll stock when supplier tag is not available.
• Load or unload trucks.
• Assemble roll stock in the warehouse.
• Remove samples of roll stock, labels, with identifying information.
• Load scrap material into the baler
• Operate industrial clamplift to assist in loading or moving roll stock.
• Perform other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience:

• Less than high school education; one (1) month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior corrugated industry experience a plus.
