Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Set Up - Mills to join our team at our facility located in Hatfield, PA. As a CNC Machinist Set Up - Mills, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, specifically 3-4 axis VMC and 5+ axis VMC machines. You will also be responsible for performing machine setups for production runs. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, including 3-4 axis VMC and 5+ axis VMC machines
• Perform machine setups for production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Select and install cutting tools and fixtures
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper performance and accuracy
• Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) machines
• Experience with CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) machines
• Ability to perform machine setups for production runs
• Knowledge of machine brands such as Kitamura, Dmg Mori Seiki, and Chiron
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred
