JOB DESCRIPTION
In this entry-level role, you will play a key part in supporting the team with market research and insights on current and upcoming color trends within the fashion and intimates industries.
The role will be a balance of creative work and organizational support for the color and concept team.
Assist in full color process from conceptualizing a palette to creating color tools and managing color resources for the creative team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in trend forecasting, market analysis, and the fashion design process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering research on current and future color trends in the intimates, fashion, and lifestyle markets.
Hands-on work including color matching, physical palette creation, and organizing the department resources.
Track seasonal color by reviewing trend forecasting reports, fashion shows, and competitor product offerings.
Help prepare reports in InDesign and Photoshop.
Assist in managing color sample requests and organizing swatches for design meetings.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure research aligns with the broader brand initiatives.
Qualifications:
A passion for fashion, color, and trends.
Strong attention to detail with a good eye for color and design.
Understanding of color theory and its application in fashion.
Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about the color process.
