The Consultant plays a vital role in providing exceptional support and service to Civica’s valued customers. This position will be engaged as necessary to meet the demands of support and implementation. The distribution of activities will be determined by the current business needs and sales pipeline.
You act as a key link between business objectives and technology solutions, collaborating with customers to define requirements and configure systems that drive real results. You translate complex needs into clear configuration outcomes, support testing and adoption, and ensure smooth project delivery through detailed documentation. By identifying functionality gaps, offering strategic advice, and aligning solutions with industry regulations, you help clients achieve operational excellence. You also support new technology rollouts, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to sales efforts by mapping product capabilities to business needs.
What you'll have to be successful in the role
Proven experience as an IT Consultant or in a similar technical role
Strong understanding of IT systems, data migration, and system integration
Proficient in SQL, data migration tools, and API structures
Solid knowledge of software design, databases, and system architecture
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to quickly analyze and resolve technical issues
Customer-focused approach with strong client engagement skills
Experience in the Health and Private Health Fund industry (highly regarded)
Skilled in presenting technical solutions clearly to various stakeholders
