About the Role

Are you passionate about design, open-source contributions, and the evolution of creative workflows? We are seeking a skilled designer to join our team as a Designer Advocate . In this role, you’ll engage with design communities, educate and inspire designers globally, and serve as a critical bridge between our product offerings and the design community.

This role reports directly to the Marketing Director and collaborates closely with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment with our mission and messaging.

What You’ll Do

• Community Engagement & Education : Build connections in the design community by being a visible, trusted presence advocating for our offerings.
• Content Creation : Develop compelling videos, articles, tutorials, and design assets to showcase the value of our tools to designers and creative teams.
• Open-Source Contribution : Contribute to and lead open-source design projects, fostering collaboration and innovation in the design community.
• Technical Promotion : Demonstrate the integration of our tools into workflows, staying updated with the latest trends in design software and creative methodologies.
• Internal Advocacy : Represent the voice of the design community within our marketing team, offering insights to shape product direction and messaging.

Skills You’ll Need

• Proficiency with Design Tools : Expertise in design software like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Presentation & Communication Skills : Ability to clearly convey design concepts to a variety of audiences, creating engaging presentations and content.
• Content Creation Experience : Proven ability to craft impactful videos, tutorials, and written content for a creative audience.
• Community Engagement : Active participation in design communities and open-source initiatives with a passion for collaboration and sharing knowledge.
• Adaptability & Flexibility : Comfortable with a flexible schedule (1-2 days per week as needed).
