Job Description



The Global Sales Play team is part of the Sales Go-To-Market organisation. We are focused to provide Sellers with easy-to-use standardized always-on Sales Plays with a quarterly emphasized theme. Our work contributes daily to the pipeline generation efforts of our selling teams by providing them the right information at the right time into their daily routine. We act as connector between departments like Marketing, Enablement and Solution Sales to align content, learning and activation in an easy to leverage manner.

The Director of Sales Play Project Management heads all Project Management efforts, coordinates the way how we bring our stakeholders together and reports on the project progressions. As a Leader within the Global Sales Play team, this role is part of the team brand and helps to accelerate the uptake of Sales Plays Globally.

Acting as a trusted advisor of Sales Go-To-Market Leaders, the Director of Sales Plays Project Management will interact with Senior Leaders in different departments to share best practice on what Sales Plays can be leveraged to support our Sales organisation.

  • Lead a team of Sales Play Project Managers ensuring a consistent and repeatable process from planning to execution 
  • Oversee and develop detailed project execution plans, and manage all processes including progress tracking, metrics, monitoring change control process, and launch 
  • Provide overall communication and work with all areas affected by the Sales Plays including marketing, partners and business sponsors 
  • Create status reporting to support project/program discussions at Steering Committee and Sponsor level 
  • Apply consistency and best practices through project initiation, planning, execution and closing phases, promoting outcomes and benefit tracking 
  • ​Ensures alignment with Marketing, Enablement, Partner and Industry solution team on the Sales Plays to ensure all materials are always up to date and projects are executed at highest quality and within timelines. 
  • Defines Sales Play project management structure, innovates and simplifies project management approach
  • Creates Standards Sales Play play packs that can be used in self-service by Sellers or Go-To-Market teams 
  • Accountable for planning and tracking of program milestones and deliverables​ 
  • Ensures team members are getting developed in their career and skills and a balanced work environment across all geographies. All based on a One Team approach 

Qualifications



Our ideal candidate: 

  • 12+ years of hands-on project management experience 
  • Experience managing teams with multiple large programs/projects, in enterprise environments delivering Sales Play projects for one or more Seller groups 
  • Experience with Agile traits and techniques: Lean design, accommodating changing requirements, iterations, loop feedback with stakeholder involvement 
  • Experience guiding teams and provide solutions while mitigating or removing hurdles / obstacles 
  • Experience overcoming project crisis 
  • Knowledge of business and sales processes, sales plays 
  • Experience with Marketing content creation and simplification  
  • Excellent time management and communication skills 
  • Ability to cross link efforts and avoid duplication 
  • Team management experience 
  • Excellent C-Level Management Communication Skills
