We are seeking a Driver - 1099 Independent Contractor to join our team! You will drive to deliver and pick up goods and packages. 

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, possess a strong work ethic, and be comfortable with heavy lifting and operating various types of vehicles.

Duties

• Must own vehicle with valid insurance and registration
• Load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling of items to prevent damage.
• Navigate designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and any issues encountered.
• Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.
• Assist in moving items within the warehouse as needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment handling is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques and local area navigation is beneficial.
