Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Must be familiar with solid-state control systems
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with PLCs and HMI programming
• Must be knowledgeable of test equipment used for troubleshooting systems
• Must have own tools
• Must be able to read electrical schematics, and PLC programs, and act on them
• Must have a thorough knowledge of AC/DC equipment, motors, generators, control panels, switches, lighting circuit breakers, relay systems, variable speed drives, and programmable controllers
• Must have a thorough knowledge of PLC networking with Automax (Reliance) system, and Allen Bradley Processors using RSLogix 500 and 5000 software with linkages between systems
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot, modify, and or re-write ladder logic programs within processors using RSLogix software
• Must have the knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair, or replace portions of, or entirety of, specialized electromechanical systems in hydro, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment
• Must be familiar with all applicable codes and proper installation methods
