What You'll Do
As a Remote ESL Teacher, you will play a critical role in supporting students as they develop their English language skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing Student Language Proficiency: Regularly evaluate students' English language skills to tailor instruction effectively.
Supporting Language Development Across Subjects: Collaborate with subject teachers to integrate language learning into all areas of the curriculum.
Delivering Individualized and Group Instruction: Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of individuals and small groups, ensuring every student gets the support they need to thrive.
Collaborating with Educators and Staff: Partner with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a holistic learning experience for students.
Fostering Social and Emotional Growth: Create a safe and inclusive environment that encourages confidence, curiosity, and emotional well-being.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking candidates who bring enthusiasm, expertise, and a commitment to equity in education.
You'll excel in this role if you have:

A valid teaching license with ESL/ESOL certification in Massachusetts.
Certification in ESL instruction (e.g., TESOL, ESL Endorsement) or equivalent credentials.
Experience teaching diverse learners, including students with disabilities and English Language Learners.
Proficiency with remote teaching platforms and digital educational tools.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and manage the diverse needs of multiple students in a virtual environment.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to creating inclusive learning spaces.

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following experiences and skills are a plus:

Previous experience in ESL instruction.
Familiarity with adaptive technologies and learning management systems (LMS).
Sensitivity to and knowledge of cultural and linguistic diversity among students.
