Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Create and curate a diverse and authentic Italian-inspired menu for the restaurant, event center, lounge, and bakery. Emphasize homemade pastas, sauces, and traditional flavors.
• Kitchen Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient kitchen environment.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes. Conduct regular tastings and evaluations.
• Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality and fresh ingredients. Negotiate pricing and maintain cost-effective inventory levels.
• Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the management team to create themed events, promotions, and special menus. Bring innovative ideas to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or event venue.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
• Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and a passion for creating authentic dishes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Creativity in menu development and presentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
