We are seeking an Experienced Heavy Timber Framing Carpenter to join our team, specializing in historic restoration projects . If you have a passion for preserving history, strong carpentry skills, and the ability to manage projects effectively, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Heavy Timber Framing: Perform skilled carpentry work on timber structures, ensuring structural integrity and historical accuracy.
• Historic Restoration: Work on unique restoration projects, utilizing techniques and materials that honor the original craftsmanship.
• Project Management: Plan and oversee projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards.
• Travel: Travel to various job sites as required; flexibility and willingness to work on-site is essential.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience with a focus on heavy timber framing and historic restoration.
• Experience in project management, including coordinating crews, managing timelines, and overseeing budgets.
• Strong understanding of tools, materials, and methods used in historic restoration and heavy timber work.
• Ability to travel and work on-site as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of Illinois labor laws and construction compliance is a plus.

• Competitive pay: $20.00 hourly to $40.00 hourly based on skillset and experience.
