Job Title: School Cleaning Staff.
Location: Crystal Academy.
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Potential for up to 40 hours during special events).
Salary: $27,000- $30,000 annually.

Position Overview:

Crystal Academy is seeking a dedicated and responsible cleaning person to maintain the cleanliness and care of our beloved school. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :

• Disposing of trash and ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and table tops.
• Vacuuming rugs and cleaning floors throughout the facility.
• Cleaning windows and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the school’s interior.
• Daily cleaning of appliances and kitchen areas (e.g., clearing appliances, wiping down counters, and cleaning the fridge).
• Weekly emptying and cleaning of the school’s fridge.
• Maintaining a consistent cleaning schedule for all common areas and ensuring a tidy appearance throughout the school.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to the administration.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, especially in an educational or institutional setting.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to work from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily, with flexibility to work additional hours for special events.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must have transportation.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Compensation:

• Annual salary of $27,000- $30,000.
• Potential for additional hours and earnings during special events.
