Job Title: Farm Hand/Equipment Operator 

Position Overview:
The Applicator is a key role within our team, responsible for delivering and applying crop protection products, dry and liquid fertilizers to customer properties. This position is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient application of products in accordance with agricultural standards. Additionally, the Applicator provides essential support to the branch and works closely with the Branch Manager to address operational needs and customer service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply crop protection products and both dry and liquid fertilizers to customer properties according to industry standards.
• Maintain and service fertilizer spreaders and application equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Operate within the safety and regulatory standards set by the USDOT and FMCSR, adhering to all transportation and safety guidelines.
• Follow HAZMAT safety protocols to ensure the safe handling and application of chemicals.
• Load and unload trucks as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure trucks and application equipment are properly maintained and operational at all times.
• Communicate operational, customer, vendor, and employee issues to the Branch Manager promptly, providing clear updates on any potential challenges or concerns.
• Support operations across all locations, which may include performing service work at different facilities.
• Maintain the office, shop, and grounds as needed, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Assist with answering phones and addressing walk-in customer inquiries.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
