Job Description

Are you a seasoned sales professional passionate about building relationships and driving innovation? Join a forward-thinking organization that's transforming Software-Defined Cloud Networking for the U.S. Federal Government. This role is centered on leading sales efforts and fostering partnerships within Federal Civilian Agencies, particularly with the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), including the CDC and FDA.

As the Federal Client Director, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative networking solutions that align with the unique needs of government agencies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll shape sales strategies, build strong relationships, and execute a three-year growth plan that directly contributes to revenue goals.

What You'll Do

Drive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals within Federal Civilian Agencies, with a specific focus on HHS, CDC, and FDA.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned agencies.
Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities across a range of networking solutions, including Data Center Networking, Virtual Networking, Cloud Vision (automation & telemetry), and Endpoint Security.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Professional Services, Sales Engineers, and Marketing, to create targeted account plans and deliver tailored solutions.
Develop a three-year business plan for your territory, aligning priorities to drive year-over-year growth.
Lead pre-engagement planning, research, and solution alignment to meet the mission-critical needs of clients.
Partner with Federal Systems Integrators and Managed Service Providers to expand the agency's footprint.
Travel as needed to meet with customers and partners.
About You
We're looking for a driven sales leader with deep experience in Federal Sales, particularly within Civilian Agencies. You excel at building relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and executing strategic plans to exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS, CS, or BBA) or equivalent experience.
At least 10+ years of Federal Sales experience with a strong background selling into HHS, CDC, and/or FDA.
In-depth knowledge of Federal procurement programs, capture strategies, and agency operations.
Proven ability to lead internal teams and external partners to successfully deliver solutions.
Working knowledge of networking technologies such as SDN, SD-WAN, data center networking, and network automation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish relationships at all organizational levels.
Experience building business plans and consistently exceeding sales targets.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass required background checks. Active security clearances (e.g., TS/SCI) are preferred but not required.
Compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from $132,000 to $180,000, with additional opportunities for bonuses, commissions, and equity. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and income protection. The final compensation package will reflect skills, qualifications, and experience.
