Job Description

Join a dynamic and collaborative team driving the transformation of Software Defined Cloud Networking through automated solutions for one of the world's largest client bases: the U.S. Federal Government. As a Federal Client Director, you'll play a key role in developing and nurturing relationships within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), including key agencies like the CDC and FDA. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Federal Civilian Agency solutions and grow business while supporting a culture of teamwork and success.

You will work alongside a talented group of professionals, including customer engineers, sales executives, and partners, all focused on achieving shared goals. You'll collaborate with a sales team dedicated to your success, and this role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within Federal Civilian Agencies, particularly HHS, CDC, and FDA.
Engage in consultative selling, crafting solutions that meet Federal customer needs, while coordinating efforts across all relevant resources, including sales operations, service teams, and management.
Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities across a range of products, including Data Center Networking, Virtual Networking, Cloud Vision (network automation & telemetry), Cognitive WiFi, Network Detection and Response, and End-Point Security.
Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders within assigned Federal agencies.
Collaborate with the partner and sales engineering teams to develop and execute strategic account plans.
Conduct pre-engagement planning, research, and solution alignment to drive customer demand.
Manage business priorities across year 1 to year 3 for assigned account territory, creating marketing plans aligned with customer and territory needs.
Who You Are:
You are an experienced Federal Sales Leader with a deep understanding of U.S. Federal programs and Civilian agency operations. You thrive on building and expanding relationships within Federal Civilian agencies and are eager to establish a strong and lasting presence within the HHS sector. You are passionate about developing solutions that align with customer missions and are committed to driving success in the Federal space.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS, CS, BBA) or equivalent.
10+ years of Federal Sales experience with a focus on Civilian agencies, particularly within HHS, CDC, and FDA.
Proven knowledge of Federal procurement programs and strategies to capture and pursue opportunities with Federal Government agencies and Federal Systems Integrators.
Demonstrated success in strategically selling to U.S. Federal accounts, Federal Systems Integrators, and Managed Service Providers.
Strong leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams within Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and external partners.
Ability to navigate the end-user requirements definition through contracting and resale processes.
Knowledge of networking technologies such as Routing, Switching, SDN, SD-WAN, Campus Networks, Network Virtualization, NFV, Data Center, and Network Automation solutions.
Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to foster connections at all levels.
Proven track record of developing business plans, documenting processes, and surpassing sales targets.
Willingness to travel by air and land to meet with customers and partners.
U.S. Citizenship required, with potential background checks and security clearance processes. Active security clearance (TS/SCI) is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation:
Base salary range: $132,000 to $180,000, based on skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
In addition to base salary, eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.
