**Job Title: Flooring Specialist**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a dedicated Flooring Specialist to join our team. This position involves applying pre-cleaning treatments, utilizing hand and machine cleaning tools to ensure carpets are thoroughly cleaned and dried, and handling furniture with care to access all cleaning areas. You will also perform routine maintenance and safety checks on cleaning equipment while providing excellent customer service through up-selling additional services and products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Apply pre-cleaning treatments and use both hand and machine cleaning tools to clean carpets.
+ Ensure thorough drying of cleaned carpets.
+ Carefully move and reset furniture to access all areas needing cleaning.
+ Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on cleaning equipment.
+ Provide exceptional customer service, including up-selling additional services and products.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in flooring, building maintenance, and janitorial duties.
+ Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including extraction, polishing, and restoration.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Commercial cleaning experience is a plus.
+ Experience in hospital environments is beneficial.
+ Valid driver's license.

**Work Environment**
This role involves traveling to job sites with a crew, primarily in Sacramento, working 20-30 hours a week on a project basis. You will be engaged in carpet cleaning, extraction, scrubbing, hard surface flooring, and light polishing in commercial buildings. The crew leader will provide on-the-job training to enhance your skills.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
