BECOMING A FOOD SERVICE - RESTAURANT COOK
Your role is critical to the success of our restaurant! As a full- or part-time Food Service - Restaurant Cook, you work alongside our experienced kitchen staff to create mouthwatering dishes that our customers will love. With the help of our talented chefs, you quickly develop new culinary skills and learn the fundamentals of professional cooking. Plus, you get to showcase your creativity by preparing a rotating menu of seasonal small plates using a variety of fresh ingredients and culinary techniques.
But that's not all! As part of our culinary team, you also help maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that our rigorous food safety standards are always met. And the best part? YOUR SCHEDULE
This entry-level cooking position is full-time or part-time. Full-time employees typically work 40 hours across 5 days a week. There is overtime available for those who want it. Our kitchen opens at 11 AM and closes at 9 PM on weekdays and at 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays, we are open from 10 AM - 3 PM. No late nights are required!

At Vortex Bottle Shop, we serve a wide variety of high-quality food, beer, and wine. We strive to create a fresh, personalized experience by crafting a new menu every quarter. Each menu item is made to order with fresh ingredients and delivered as it is completed. We don't use heat lamps - each creation is enjoyed at its freshest.
With over 200 different kinds of craft beers, we have the biggest selection in the area. We also have a constantly rotating tap with 18 lines of amazing local products. Every time a keg kicks, it's replaced with something entirely different. Additionally, we have over 100 wines by the bottle, complete with descriptions and an incredibly knowledgeable staff to guide our customers through pairing and sipping.
