SquareDash.com is a tech-enabled services company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. We specialize in providing managed / outsourced billing services and claim funding for contractors in the roofing and restoration industry. SquareDash is the fastest way for roofers and restoration contractors to get paid on insurance claims. 

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. This role requires someone who is proficient in both front-end and back-end Web development and has a passion for building scalable and reliable solutions with a well designed UI and intuitive UX. You will play a key role in taking our proprietary platform to the next level, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers and internal teams.

What you’ll do

• Platform Development : Collaborate with business leaders and other stakeholders to build, enhance, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end solutions for our proprietary job management and insurance claim funding platform.
• API Integrations : Develop and implement integrations with third-party services such as Stripe, DocuSign, and other SaaS-based applications to enhance platform functionality.
• Database Managemen t: Design and optimize database schemas and queries to support application performance and scalability.
• User Experience : Collaborate with designers to ensure a user-friendly and visually appealing interface that is responsive and simple to use.
• Troubleshooting : Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to ensure platform reliability.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in software development and our already established Software Development Guidelines and engineering processes.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Customer Support, to deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines.

Requirements

Who you are

• Experienced Developer : You have full stack development experience and a strong understanding of modern Web technologies. You have several years of experience using the GitHub development platform and CI/CD solutions based on GitHub Actions. You have experience with monitoring and code quality toolsets such as Sentry.io, SonarQube, and GitHub Dependabot.
• Tech Stack Expertise : Our platform runs on AWS and leverages serverless technologies such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS / PostgreSQL, and S3, to name a few. Proficient in TypeScript / JavaScript (React, Node.js), Python, and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Problem-Solver : You have a proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges.
• Team Player : You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and in situations where ambiguous requirements and requests are rationalized through productive discussions.
• Detail-Oriented: You write clean, efficient code and have a strong commitment to quality using automated testing methods (such as Test Driven Development).
• Familiarity with Fintech: Experience in fintech or the roofing industry is a plus but not required. Experience using Stripe APIs for payment processing and treasury services.
• Continuous Learner: You stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Web development and Cloud platform services.
