An expanding and popular bilingual school in Shanghai is seeking for an experienced and professional Geography teacher.

Our client is one of the leading secondary school in town offering the IGCSE and A Level programme to local Chinese students. Despite being only 9 years old, the school has already proven themselves as one of the top A Level schools in Shanghai. The school has brilliant programmes in order to promote high quality of learning for students and encourage them to achieve outstanding results to become successful. 

The school has two different campuses located 5 mins walk away from each other and within a university area. The metro station is just minutes away from the school and it also has very well connected bus or cab system to take you to city centre. 

The school provides all students with a unique learning experience to help the students to develop as world citizens with global vision while at the same time holding and valuing their Chinese heritage and culture. 

Requirements to apply:

**Bachelor degree or above in Geography or relevant subject

**Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS

**Min of two years teaching experience, strong NQT will also be considered

**Native English speaker 

**A Level experience is desirable 

**Flexible to adapt into new culture 

Salary package:

**Monthly salary up to 28,000RMB 

**Monthly housing allowance

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

2 Years

Type of Staff:

Male or Female can apply to this job

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 18,000 up to 27,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied

Housing:

Housing allowance of 7,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided

Medical:

State/Public medical provided

Flights:

8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided

Bereavement Leave:

Bereavement leave given

Emergency Evacuation:

Emergency evacuation given

Contract Length:

2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
