The Information Technology Specialist (ITS) I, serving as a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Management Specialist in the Information Systems Security Management Section (ISSMS), is responsible for managing audit processes, liaising with information security auditors, and developing and overseeing security policies, guidelines, and standards. This role ensures compliance with industry standards and state and federal security requirements. The incumbent will assist in collecting and reviewing documents for audits and assessments, ensuring alignment with FI$Cal security policies, and providing guidance on procedure development across various departmental units.
The classification of Information Technology Associate (ITA)is also being considered for this recruitment. If the recruitment is filled at the ITA classification the duties will be adjusted accordingly. At FI$Cal, we offer remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework for three or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days. Our office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, CA. Candidates residing outside of California are welcome to interview, but proof of California residency is required before appointment. Please note, relocation and commute expenses are the responsibility of the employee.
This position requires prolonged sitting in an office-setting environment with the use of a personal computer.
