Home Health Seeking Occupational Therapist (OT)

Locations: Tucson, North Tucson

Dependable Health Services is seeking a dedicated Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide in-home therapy services that help patients regain, develop, and maintain their daily living and work skills. This role involves assessing patients recovering from illness, injury, or disability and implementing treatment plans that promote independence and improve overall function.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home assessments to evaluate patients’ functional abilities and needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance daily living skills.

• Guide patients in improving coordination and adapting everyday activities for greater ease.

• Address emotional and mental health challenges, such as dementia and depression.

• Educate patients and caregivers on managing conditions and implementing therapy strategies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Occupational Therapy license from an accredited program.

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a home setting.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel for home visits.
