About Us: Le Petit Marcel is a French bistro nestled in Chicago's Lakeview East neighborhood, inviting guests on an enchanting journey through 19th-century Paris. Our evolving menu and cozy ambiance promise a memorable dining experience.

Position Summary: We are seeking passionate and dedicated Hostesses to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception: Warmly greet guests upon arrival and interact in a professional, courteous manner, fostering positive guest relationships.
• Reservation Management: Proficiently navigate reservation platforms and maintain the client database.
• Knowledgeable Service: Exhibit thorough knowledge of Le Petit Marcel’s menus, culinary style, concept, reservation policies, operating hours, and other relevant information to address common guest inquiries.
• Guest Interaction: Handle various guest interactions, including reservations, confirmation calls, special requests.
• Maintain Standards: Ensure the dining room and restaurant areas are clean and adhere to all health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior host/hostess and reservationist experience preferred, especially in fine dining or luxury hotel settings.
• Passion for Hospitality: Genuine enthusiasm for restaurant hospitality and service.
• Personality: Energetic and friendly demeanor, with a strong ability to work cohesively as part of a team and support colleagues in various roles.
• Multitasking Ability: Capable of performing efficiently in a high-volume, high-intensity restaurant environment.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with open availability to meet business needs.
