We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. Your work will ensure a comfortable and inviting experience for all of the guests.
Work Shift - Thursday through Monday / 8a-2p (until the job board is completed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with hotel standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed, ensuring that all amenities are stocked.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management in a timely manner.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks and assisting with special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when items are running low.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding to any special requests or concerns.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical stamina; the ability to stand, lift, and move heavy objects as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
