The DLP Services, LLC is currently accepting applications for the position of:

• POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Assistant.
• Location: Laredo, TX
• Hire Pay: $17.10hr.

Classification :

• Full time.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Assists with staffing and pre-hire activities, including coordinating the background screening process.
• Ability to execute and support HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Leadership and training abilities.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Composure and confidentiality on disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Maintains reports and responds to internal and external requests for information.
• Administrative duties including maintaining employee records, EEO data, etc.
• Compliance with all policies and legal requirements.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by HR Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working understanding of human resource principals, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and function well in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel Spreadsheets, Dropbox.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

• Receives supervision from the Human Resources Director. Position has formal assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor office environment.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:

• This position is subject to the DLP Services LLC, Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Business Administration or two years’ experience in related field.

Other:

• Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
