Postion: Care Team Assistant (Human Resources) Location: Cary, NC FLSA: Non-Exempt Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time, in-office About Senior Helpers: Since 2002, Senior HelpersĀ® is the nation's premier provider of in-home senior care, with locations all across the country. Our services range from specialized care for those with chronic diseases to companion services for seniors looking for assistance with daily activities. Role Overview: As the Care Team Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function to ensure the smooth operation of the team. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and other HR-related tasks, contributing to a positive and engaging work environment for our caregivers and administrative staff. You will also serve as a backup scheduler, ensuring the smooth administration of care services. Reporting to Agency Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring we have a team of dedicated caregivers and staff to meet the needs of our clients across the Triangle Area. Key Responsibilities: * Recruitment and Hiring:

  • Manage job postings on various platforms and sourcing candidates.
  • Assist in conducting interviews with prospective caregivers.
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings and reference checks.
* Onboarding and Training:
  • Support the onboarding process by ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate and lead new hire orientations and training sessions in conjunction with the Registered Nurse.
* Employee Records and Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining confidentiality of HR files and employee information.
* HR Support:
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Follow up with new caregivers in a timely manner to ensure they are supported.
  • Support HR projects, events, and initiatives as needed
* Back-Up Scheduling:
  • Under the supervision of the Scheduling Coordination, select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients.
  • Accept on-call duty every three weeks, or as directed by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in recruitment or human resources, preferably in healthcare, home care, or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, recruitment platforms, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have vehicle with valid auto insurance and motor vehicle report in accordance with insurer's standards.
  • Prior experience as a caregiver or NC Nurse Aide I status strongly preferred.
