Interventional Cardiologist

Austin Area / Pflugerville, Texas

Baylor Scott & White Health Pflugerville is recruiting a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join our thriving group practice with an instant referral base from the clinic?s network of primary care physicians and existing non-invasive cardiologists.

· Coverage for Pflugerville (home site)

· Coronary skills. Minimum 250 PCIs

· Peripheral skills preferred

· General Cardiology call 7 to 10 days per month

· Interventional call 15 days per month at BSWH Pflugerville

· Access to perform complex interventions in a tertiary care center (BSWH Round Rock Hospital).

The BSWH Pflugerville Hospital is doubling in size due to necessary growth to meet the community?s demand. The hospital is growing to 50 inpatient beds and the expansion includes a new catheterization lab.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Doctorate Degree in Medicine

- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
