Job Title: Japanese/English Bilingual Software Test Engineer

Location: Peachtree City, GA

Salary range: $65,000

General Position Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated, organized software test engineer. This position requires Japanese/English Bilingual.

This position is testing, examining, and evaluating computer application software and systems by applying computer science/engineering principles.

Essential Job Functions

Software Test Engineering

• Test software evaluation such as Initial analysis, bench evaluation, program testing, de-bugging, integration test, function test, to re-flashing samples and test units with respect to multimedia software systems to find bugs in end-user perspective and support any quality issues.
• Set up car radio device environment by wiring harness, simulator box, power supply, and other components in Bench and vehicle.
• Analyze and fix hardware issues of car radio device environment.
• Test and find weakness in radio device to improve quality.
• Initial Data analysis of log data.
• Document and maintain findings in error tracking databases and update the trouble ticket system.
• Reviews product specifications to determine the workloads.
• Examines software for quality assurances purposes.
• Experience in Quality Assurance for software, including reading test specifications, performing tests, and reporting bugs.
• While bug fixes are not required, experience in analyzing the causes of bugs is necessary.
• Ideally, experience with embedded systems or software for IoT devices, rather than web-based software.
• 2-3 years of testing experience and Japanese language proficiency are mandatory.

Other & Miscellaneous Attends weekly meeting.

Translates documents from English to Japanese and vice versa.

Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes. Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors

Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.

Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisors for solution.
