Job Description
Marshall Grain Company is looking for a landscape crew member to drive our crew to worksites, pick up materials from suppliers and haul materials away from job sites. In addition to driving, you’ll work outdoors digging, planting, laying sod, removing plants, spreading soil and mulch, building hardscapes and other landscaping tasks as needed. We are looking for a full-time employee. Experience is desired, but not necessary. You must be eager to work hard outdoors in hot and cold weather. You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and you must have some English. You must be able to drive a pickup truck with trailer (and have a good driving record). We are a growing company and there are opportunities for advancement.
At Marshall Grain we are specialists in organic gardening and the use of native Texas plants. We apply these principles to installations, organic fertilizations, plant pest and disease control and general gardening work that we do for our customers.
Marshall Grain has been serving Tarrant County residents since 1946. You will work out of our store, but most often you will be working at customer sites as part of a crew of 2 to 5 people. We pay weekly and pay overtime when we ask you to work more than 40 hours a week. Full-time employees are eligible for paid holidays.
