Title: RPA developer (UiPath)
Location: 3 days a week onsite in NYC - must be local
Duration: 6+ months contract



Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to design and implement automation solutions that optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to identify automation opportunities, create high-quality solutions, and provide ongoing support for deployed bots.



Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy RPA bots using UiPath.
• Build reusable components, scripts, and workflows to enhance automation scalability and efficiency.
• Perform unit testing to ensure automation solutions meet quality standards.
• Act as both developer and business analyst, identifying and delivering automation solutions (including RPA and other tools like Tableau).
• Document and analyze existing business processes to design effective automation strategies.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement them.
• Deploy and maintain RPA bots in production environments, providing ongoing support and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance bot performance to address issues and improve reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes for automation errors.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including Process Design Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for team members and stakeholders when necessary.
• Stay current with the latest RPA tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 8+ years of experience as an RPA Developer, with hands-on expertise in UiPath.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of workflow orchestration, debugging, and error-handling techniques in automation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• RPA certification is strongly preferred.
