**Machinist - 35/hr!** **Why Work Here?** + We offer a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401k plan. + You'll receive on-the-job training from skilled machinists and have opportunities for growth and advancement. + **Enjoy 11 paid holidays and a $3 shift combo once you are trained to operate more than one machine at a time.** **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC Mills to machine airplane landing gear parts. + Perform 1 to 2 set-ups per day for low volume parts. + Maintain tight tolerances of +/- .001. + Manage machine controls, including pulling and sending programs and tool changes. + Interpret setup sheets and tool lists. + Calculate offsets based on prints and adjust cutting pressures. + Use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a job shop setting. + 3+ years experience interpreting blueprints and setup sheets. + 3+ years experience performing quality inspections using micrometers and calipers. + 3+ years experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ year of programming experience is a plus. **Work Environment** You will work in a shop environment using machines such as CNC Lathes, CNC Gap Lathes, Millturns, CNC Mills (3, 4 & 5 axis), CNC Bridge Mills, and CNC Boring Mills. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr. - Medical, Dental, Vision insurance - 401k with company match - vacation/PTO days - Career growth opportunities **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Springfield,OH. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Dec 2, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
