Job Description

As the Manager of Operational Readiness, your primary responsibility is to ensure the meticulous preparation and proficiency of all processes and systems, guaranteeing their effectiveness in supporting operational functions. This role holds particular significance, particularly in the context of introducing new processes, services, or substantial changes and transformations (FLIP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure meticulous preparation and accurate design of all essential systems and operations to support various implementations.
  • Evaluate and ascertain the clarity of all processes, establishing conducive conditions for team training.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality team to ensure comprehensive training for teams, equipping them with the requisite skills to fulfill employee and customer requirements.
  • Partner with the Quality team to implement robust quality control processes, ensuring that changes in workflows and new implementations adhere to rigorous standards.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize efficiency within operational processes.
  • Develop a clear and comprehensive communication strategy to keep staff informed about changes and preparations.
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings with stakeholders to identify and promptly address any challenges.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges that may emerge during critical periods (such as adverse weather, events, or implementations) and implement procedures to minimize their impact.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation outlining all preparations and actions taken.
  • Generate reports for the management team, providing a succinct summary of the operational readiness status.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the readiness of all relevant aspects of the business.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and optimizing processes.
