Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Forked River, NJ

Type: Contract
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week, flexible schedule. Office is open from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Can choose hours to work during office hours.

Administrative Assistant Job Duties:

Reset and organize entire 30 year old file system of paid invoices sales orders, etc. by color code, date and alphabetical order.
Set up and manage online banking of bills.
Notify vendors and customers of new email address.
Work with management to increase automation in the office.
Create and laminate signage in MS Word.
Eventually, entries and accounting in QuickBooks.
Spring 2026, inventory and sales order in QuickBooks and Excel.

Administrative Assistant Job Qualifications:

Prior experience with QuickBooks, Excel and Word
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Organizational skills, a must
