Job Description

Description of the role: Caremed Inc. is looking for a motivated and energetic Patient Care/Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! As a Patient Care/Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing patient/employee scheduling for an optimal client experience; while maintaining office efficiency, exceptional customer service and professionalism. Responsibilities:

in/outbound calls from clients/employees
patient scheduling and logistics
executing daily workflows including cancellations, missed visits, and reassignments
executing visit verification
serves as a liaison between clients, employees, RN Supervisor, and all other team members
works independently to ensure that all services are coordinated timely, efficient and accurate manner
effectively addressing client/employee or care teams members concerns swiftly

must possess excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem resolution skills
supportive and compassionate individual with the ability to work with broad range of cultural and social economic backgrounds

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least, 1 year experience in healthcare setting, handling multiple phone inquires
Knowledge of third party-reimbursements, patient authorizations and plan of care
Experience with software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
Experience with electronic visit verification software, preferred
Experience with Medicaid Guidelines, preferred
