Description of the role: Caremed Inc. is looking for a motivated and energetic Patient Care/Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! As a Patient Care/Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing patient/employee scheduling for an optimal client experience; while maintaining office efficiency, exceptional customer service and professionalism. Responsibilities:

• in/outbound calls from clients/employees
• patient scheduling and logistics
• executing daily workflows including cancellations, missed visits, and reassignments
• executing visit verification
• serves as a liaison between clients, employees, RN Supervisor, and all other team members
• works independently to ensure that all services are coordinated timely, efficient and accurate manner
• effectively addressing client/employee or care teams members concerns swiftly

• must possess excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem resolution skills
• supportive and compassionate individual with the ability to work with broad range of cultural and social economic backgrounds

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least, 1 year experience in healthcare setting, handling multiple phone inquires
• Knowledge of third party-reimbursements, patient authorizations and plan of care
• Experience with software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Experience with electronic visit verification software, preferred
• Experience with Medicaid Guidelines, preferred
