As the Payroll Manager , you will oversee the entire payroll function, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. You will collaborate with HR and Finance to manage compliance, optimize payroll processes and ensure payroll-related issues are handled efficiently. We’re looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a passion for process improvement and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Payroll Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll for both salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments
• Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements
• Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes, including automating workflows and improving data accuracy
• Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal teams, including Finance, Accounting and HR, to provide insights and recommendations
• Oversee deductions, benefits administration and any payroll-related changes for employees (e.g., bonuses, commissions, etc.)
• Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving issues and answering employee questions with professionalism and accuracy
• Prepare for and manage audits related to payroll, taxes and benefits

Payroll Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or a related field
• 3+ years of payroll management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom) and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
