• Mar 3-7
• Mar 17-21

• Additional shifts may be available through the summer
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Home Call for Inpatient Service
• Call Type: Beeper
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Peds & Adola (Ages 11-21)
• Patient Volume: 2-7 patients
• Occasional consults
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Yes
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix:
- Stabilization of patients with malnutrition or bradycardia due to eating disorders
- Treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease
- Stabilization of patients with opioid withdrawal or hyperemesis due to marijuana use
- Treatment of patients with severe anemia due to abnormal uterine bleeding
- Experience treating GYN issues or medical issues relating to eating disorders preferred
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine-trained physicians with experience in adolescent care (ages 13-21) may be considered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES & JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active DC license

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient care for adolescent patients
• Round in person with a pediatric resident team
• Participate in virtual multidisciplinary meetings with case management, psychiatry, and social work
• Review and sign off on resident notes
• Respond to occasional consults and outside calls
