Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 / year

Job Summary:
The Pediatric Neuropsychologist will play a critical role in our healthcare team, primarily focusing on the comprehensive assessment and care of children and adolescents with cognitive, academic, or behavioral difficulties arising due to various neurological or developmental disorders. The professional will work in close association with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care.
Duties of the Role:
1. Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive efficiency, attention and memory, language and learning capacities, sensory-perceptual abilities, motor skills, and emotional/behavioral regulation.
2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as pediatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists, therapists, school teachers, and special educators to formulate effective treatment plans.
3. Document patient's history, treatment plans, and progress reports meticulously.
4. Provide direct consultation and follow up treatment to enhance cognitive functioning and implement behavior-management programs.
5. Advise and educate family members or caregivers on the patient's condition and ways to aid in home-based recovery and care.
6. Stay updated with research and advancements in pediatric neuropsychology, brain development, and relevant therapeutic strategies.
7. Participate in clinical research and deliver presentations or publications in academic settings if needed.
8. Develop training programs and workshops for students, interns, fellow staff members, and community about child brain development and related disorders.
9. Adhere to the established laws, ethical codes, and regulations concerning patient's confidentiality and rights.
