Pharmacy Support Representative
Location Cary, NC | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $21.50–$22.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday, flexible shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT: As a Pharmacy Support Rep., you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and accurate processing of insurance and pharmacy claims for patients. Your work directly supports patient access to care and helps uphold service quality through effective documentation, call handling, and collaboration with internal teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and payors for updates and service coordination
• Communicate with patients to gather and verify insurance information
• Accurately triage prescriptions to HUB providers or preferred pharmacies
• Enter communication records into Biologics’ Management Information System (MIS)
• Process pharmacy claims and interpret claim responses
• Support annual reverification projects and assist with related administrative tasks
• Respond to internal communications via chat and email
• Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to clinical teams
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
• No licenses required but the client is open to candidates who have their Pharmacy Tech certification
