An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Tammy Kielian (Twitter: @KielianLab) in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology, University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The candidate will direct independent projects related to the role of innate and adaptive immunity in host defense against Staphylococcus aureusbiofilms using mouse infection models as well as translational research with clinical specimens from patients with biofilm infections.
